Started by Hannes von Döhren as a young graphic designer with a passion for letters, HvD evolved to an established type foundry working together with clients, agencies and experts. Using the act of creation itself, as our driving force, we have produced a balanced array of playful and professional typefaces, always underpinned by expert execution, including FF Mark, Pluto, Reklame Script or Brandon Grotesque. One principle of HvD is that we want to deliver fonts of the highest quality level: optically AND technically. In addition to creating self initiated typefaces, we worked on several bespoke type design projects for clients like Lufthansa, Volkswagen, Hyundai or Wal-Mart. Important or not, but good to mention: We received several design awards for our typefaces including the iF Award, the Red Dot Award or the Certificate of Excellence in Type Design from the Type Directors Club NY.

You may use the licensed fonts to create images on any surface such as computer screens, paper, web pages, photographs, movie credits, printed material, T-shirts, and other surfaces where the image is a fixed size.
You may not under any circumstances embed the licensed fonts into software or hardware products in which the fonts will be used by the purchasers of such products. Such use requires a different license which may be offered by the Foundry through MyFonts. Please contact help@myfonts.com for further information.
If Nitro Pro cannot determine a related font, it uses a generic font. We advise you to confirm that selected fonts are similar in appearance, and apply another font if necessary. For more information, see Embedded fonts.
Very nice article, Garamond is still my favourite web safe font. I would prefer to see a comparison of these fonts though with true web save fonts. Typography has really come into its own in recent years but to get a great design out of just websafe fonts aswell is the key I think. Especially since the SEO wave is still gong strong and not dried up yet.
Mobile FontFonts are optimized for screen and licensed for use on mobile devices. When designing a native app for a mobile device, like iPhone, Mobile FontFonts allow the designer to specify fonts outside the options that come preinstalled. Mobile FontFonts are presently supported in iOS only.
Just like webfonts, mobile fonts protect brands and help set apps apart from the crowd. Optimized by hand for the device screen, Mobile FontFonts enhance the user experience. Mobile FontFonts let designers and developers break from the mold of system fonts and give their products some personality. With language support included, Mobile FontFonts allow for consistent, subtle branding to a global audience. 56 mobile fonts from 15 popular families are available in 14 packs with 4 fonts each.
Mobile FontFonts are specifically formatted for embedding into an iOS app. No more hours spent converting fonts! Each is optimized for performance on screen and features developer-friendly licensing and pricing.
Although initially available only for use in iOS app development, mobile fonts for additional platforms will be released in the coming months. There are also plans to release additional font families, so designers can use typography to create truly 360-degree brands across desktop, web, and mobile.
And just to sweeten the pot, OurType is also offering select styles from each family entirely free of charge. You can give the complimentary fonts a test run, then come back for the family when you realize how great they are.

Notes include: pure toasted coconut, a touch of fig, yellow orchid, vanilla flower, Sandalwood, Orris Root, ylang ylang, tiare flowers, soft Musk and a tiny hint of citrus zest for sparkle all make for coconut fragranced magic.
I don't usually do reviews but I had to with this one. I have tried every coconut perfume as coconut is one of my favorite scents... Sunday Forever's Coconuts is by far the most amazing, only word I can say to describe it is intoxicating... This has become the only perfume I wear. It lasts all day without being too overwhelming. I get constant compliments & even had a man standing in line behind me say "wow whatever you are wearing is so intoxicating!"
It all started with a commitment to creating the perfect coconut perfume, and we've only gone up from there. Whatever your preference, we've got a fragrance that will leave people asking what you're wearing wherever you go.
TypeKit is a Web-based typography service and it making the web more beautiful, readable, and fast. It offers subscriptions to those who want to use sophisticated fonts in their websites with new abilities in CSS (Cascading Style Sheets). We have used TypeKit in a large number of websites with great success. TypeKit is a great way to add a fresh new look to a sie at little or no expense. It is easy to set up and easy to manage.
Adobe is among those that distributes its fonts in this way. TypeKit already boasts 250,000 customers including such big websites like Vanity Fair, Condé Nast and The New York Times. Subscriptions to fonts cost more from TypeKit based on the number of page views, but for the vast majority of the sites the cost is reasonable - around $25 per year for most sites.
Adobe already licenses fonts to those who would use them in magazines and the like. CSS and the related WOFF (Web Open Font Format) technology distribute digital fonts for rendering in a browser, an approach that can save download times and improve flexibility for display on everything from smartphones to big-screen TVs when compared to baking words into graphical PNG or JPEG images.
As a designer I have two complaints about TypeKit. First, to create Photoshop screenshots of website pages you have to have the TypeKit fonts installed on your computer. Many of the fonts are very expensive - $399 - for a single font family. No one wants to spend that kind of money on a font you aren't sure you are going to use. Some of the fonts - like Fertigo - are free on the web, but you have to hunt for them. TypeKit has tools that enable you to see how your selected font will look in different sizes and on different browsers, but these tools are no substitute for webpage mock-ups. 2ff7e9595c
